Villa Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Supervisor RN to provide leadership and oversight to nursing staff during non-business hours, ensuring proper staffing, workflow, and high-quality patient care. The role acts as the highest on-site authority after-hours, making timely decisions and coordinating with other departments.

The RN will perform direct nursing care, administrative tasks, and staff development support, with rounds to monitor patient conditions and ensure compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited college.
• Current license to practice as RN in the state.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Long-term care and MDS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and leadership to all on-duty nursing staff during non-business hours.
• Act as the highest-ranking on-site authority during after-hours and weekends.
• Support staff with complex cases or difficult family situations and staffing changes.
• Make rounds to monitor resident conditions and ensure standards are met.
• Complete reports and ensure smooth shift handoffs and documentation.
• Maintain clean, sanitary nursing areas and secure medication rooms.
