Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3–5+ years of affordable housing experience.
• 3+ years HUD experience in project-based Section 8 compliance.
• Experience with leasing, collections and compliance processes.
• Experience with Yardi or similar property management systems.

Responsibilities

• Support daily office operations and ensure coverage.
• Assist with workflows, policies, and Real Estate Manager duties as needed.
• Process rent payments and maintain resident ledgers.
• Manage delinquency, notices, and payment plans per policy.
• Assist with evictions and monthly financial reporting.
• Support LIHTC, HUD, and Section 8 program compliance.
• Process certifications and audit-ready resident files.
• Process applications, leases, move-ins, and move-outs.
• Support leasing efforts, follow-ups, and occupancy goals.
• Respond to resident concerns and assist with conflicts.
• Ensure timely notices and communications.
• Coordinate with maintenance on work orders and unit turns.
• Track work orders and support vendor coordination.
• Maintain records in property management systems.
• Assist with occupancy, delinquency, and compliance reporting.
