Job summary

ABEL BISHOP & CLARKE REALTY CO in Columbus, OH is seeking a Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential property. You will supervise leasing and maintenance teams, ensure occupancy targets, and manage compliance with Fair Housing laws.

The role requires strong administrative, analytical, and leadership skills; experience in affordable housing and HUD programs is preferred. You will handle budgeting, reporting, and vendor coordination while delivering excellent resident

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; some college beneficial.
• At least 2 years of Affordable Housing experience required.
• COS and/or TCS certifications are beneficial; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise leasing and maintenance staff, including delegating work and training.
• Maintain property occupancy by retaining residents.
• Approve lease applicants and process move-ins.
• Administer HUD recertifications and review EIV reports.
• Rent collections and delinquency reporting.
• Oversee property maintenance, including unit turns and inspections.
• Prepare budgets and monitor financial reporting.
• Coordinate resident activities and communications.
• Attend training and meetings; participate in court proceedings as needed.
