Columbus Property Management, a Member of Mission First Housing Group, seeks a Leasing Specialist in Philadelphia to guide residents through the leasing process, manage applicant pipelines, and ensure eligibility compliance across diverse affordable housing portfolios.

You will coordinate with property teams, conduct tours, prepare leasing documents, and maintain accurate records within Yardi, while ensuring adherence to Fair Housing and LIHTC guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in leasing, property management, affordable housing, or related field.
• Knowledge of affordable housing programs and eligibility documentation.
• Experience with Yardi or similar property-management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage leasing for vacant units from inquiry to move-in and maintain an organized applicant pipeline.
• Market available units through ads, outreach, fairs, and networks.
• Explain rent, utilities, deposits, and housing programs to applicants.
• Process applications and third-party verifications for eligibility.
• Maintain waiting lists and applicant files per plan and policies.
• Coordinate with management and maintenance on move-in readiness.
• Track vacancies, approvals, denials, and occupancy metrics.
