Job summary

MMS Group seeks an experienced Property Manager for a 74-unit affordable housing property in Macon, GA. You will oversee operations, budget, and staff while ensuring compliance with housing programs and tenant relations.

The role requires 3+ years in residential multifamily management and 2+ years in affordable housing, with LIHTC/Section 8 knowledge. Proficiency in RealPage OneSite and MS Office is needed; bachelor’s not required, an Associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of residential multifamily property management or real estate management experience as a Property Manager.
• Minimum two years of affordable housing experience.
• Associate degree in Marketing and/or Business preferred.
• Experience with project-based Section 8, LIHTC, and other affordable housing programs; Section 8 voucher submission, tax-credit.
• LIHTC Certification preferred.
• RealPage OneSite or similar property management software experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the property.
• Collect rent and other property fees from residents promptly.
• Address resident concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Partner with maintenance team to preserve affordable housing through preventive maintenance and timely repairs.
• Prepare and follow an operating budget with regional/corporate guidance.
• Handle all accounting functions including invoices, evictions, and resident accounts.
