Job summary

MMS Group is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee a 112-unit affordable housing property in Atlanta, GA. The role focuses on operational and financial success, resident relations, and staff leadership within a high-demand community.

You will manage budgeting, compliance with Section 8/tax credits, and coordinate maintenance to ensure quality standards while delivering excellent resident service and team development.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of residential multifamily property management experience.
• Minimum two years of affordable housing experience.
• LIHTC Certification preferred.
• Experience with Section 8 voucher submission and tax-credits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily property operations and ensure financial performance.
• Collect rent and other fees from residents promptly.
• Address resident concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Coordinate with maintenance for preventive upkeep and timely repairs.
• Manage budgeting with regional manager and corporate office.
• Oversee accounting tasks including invoices, evictions, and resident charges.
• Hire, train, and supervise site staff to ensure high performance.
• Conduct regular property inspections and ensure compliance with standards.
• Complete income verification to meet government regulations.
