Job summary

Cruz Management Company Inc. is seeking a Leasing Agent to support day-to-day property operations, including apartment rentals, move-ins, recertifications, and inspections.

You will handle administrative tasks, learn HUD and LIHTC guidelines, and assist in maintaining occupancy goals. The role requires strong customer service, organization, and communication skills, with proficiency in MS Word/Excel/Outlook and a willingness to learn Yardi software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first contact for prospective residents and visitors.
• Conduct apartment and community tours for prospective residents.
• Assist applicants with rental applications and required documentation.
• Process applications and forward files for review by the Property Manager.
• Prepare lease documents, move-in packets, and resident notices.
• Coordinate move-in appointments and welcome new residents.
• Maintain organized resident and applicant files.
• Enter applicant/resident data into Yardi accurately.
• Assist with monthly occupancy and leasing reports.
• Collaborate with Property Manager, Occupancy Specialist, Maintenance, and Office.
