Viasat is hiring a Wire Harness Designer to create cables and harness assemblies for aviation and space products. You will generate wire lists, drawings, and BOMs while coordinating with systems, electrical, test and operations teams to ensure quality and manufacturability.

The role requires SolidWorks proficiency, electrical schematic knowledge, and experience with IPC/WHMA-A-620. Travel up to 15–20% will be needed as projects move forward.

Formación

• Associate degree or 2+ years in aviation/space harness design.
• Experience with IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
• Experience creating fabrication drawings and BOMs.

Responsabilidades

• Generate cable and harness design packages for aviation/space applications.
• Participate in group discussions and design reviews.
• Identify critical components and design features with teams.
