Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Wax Injection Mold Machine Operator to set up and run wax molding equipment, ensuring precise patterns and quality control in aerospace manufacturing. You'll inspect parts, maintain safety standards, and document production activities on a 2nd shift.

The role requires basic mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow complex instructions in English. Training and safety protocols are emphasized for continual improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Prefer 3+ months of manufacturing or machine operation experience.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions in English.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and safety-minded approach.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate wax injection molding machines following engineering practices and work instructions.
• Prepare and install dies, cores, and tooling for production runs.
• Load materials and monitor machine settings, including temperature, pressure, and cycle parameters.
• Produce wax patterns, sprues, gating, and related components to quality standards.
• Inspect finished parts for defects and perform minor cleaning or deflashing as needed.
• Complete production paperwork and sign off on routers.
• Follow all safety, quality, and standard work requirements.
