Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Wax Assembly Operator to clean, prepare, and assemble wax patterns and related components for aerospace parts. You will follow engineering specifications, maintain quality, and ensure on-time production in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, clear English communication, and 3+ months of related experience. Training includes exposure to shift hours, safety protocols, and teamwork within a global engineering environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• English communication (speaking, reading, writing) needed.
• 3+ months of manufacturing/assembly/inspection experience preferred.
• Aerospace/manufacturing or precision assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare wax patterns and core components before assembly.
• Remove defects using approved tools and methods.
• Inspect wax patterns to ensure quality before assembly.
• Read and follow engineering sketches and work instructions.
• Assemble wax patterns, gating, sprues, bleeders, pour cups, ceramic cores, and other mold components.
• Use assembly tools such as hot irons, water welders, scalpels, adhesives.
• Repair minor imperfections and address quality concerns as directed.
• Sign off on production routers and complete required paperwork.
• Transfer completed work to the next operation and communicate status to the team.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
