Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Wax Assembly Operator to clean, prepare, and assemble wax patterns and related components used in aerospace parts manufacturing. This role follows engineering specifications and customer requirements to ensure quality and on-time production.

2nd shift, Monday-Friday 1:00p-9:00p, with a $2.00 shift differential. Training may include varying shifts; successful trainees transition to assigned shifts. Safety and quality are emphasized across the production process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to clearly communicate in English, including reading and following work instructions.
• 3+ months of manufacturing, assembly, inspection, or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare wax patterns and core components prior to assembly.
• Remove defects using approved tools and methods.
• Inspect wax patterns to ensure they meet quality requirements before assembly.
• Read and follow engineering sketches, practices, and work instructions.
• Assemble wax patterns, gating, sprues, bleeders, pour cups, ceramic cores, and other mold components.
• Repair minor imperfections and address quality concerns as directed.
• Complete required paperwork and sign off on production routers.
• Transfer completed work to the next operation and communicate job status to the team.
