Job summary

Chromalloy seeks a Wax Assembly Operator to clean, prepare, and assemble wax patterns and related components used in aerospace parts production. You will follow engineering specifications and work instructions to ensure quality and on‑time production.

The role operates on a 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday 9:00p-5:00a) with a $3.00 shift differential, and includes training that may start on different shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to read and understand English work instructions.
• 3+ months manufacturing/assembly/inspection experience preferred.
• Prior aerospace or precision assembly experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
• Good hand dexterity for detailed assembly.
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and procedures.
• Team-oriented with commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare wax patterns and cores prior to assembly.
• Remove defects using approved tools and methods.
• Inspect wax patterns for quality before assembly.
• Assemble wax patterns and mold components.
• Use assembly tools to perform tasks.
• Sign off on production routers.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
