Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Wax Assembly Operator to clean, prepare, and assemble wax patterns and related components used in aerospace part production. You will follow engineering specifications, standard work, and customer requirements to ensure quality, accuracy, and on-time production.

The role operates on 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 1:30p-9:30p with a $2.00 shift differential. Training may occur on other shifts; after training, you’ll transition to your assigned shift.

Qualifications

• English proficiency required to read and follow work instructions.
• Strong hand dexterity for detailed assembly work.
• Excellent attention to quality and defect identification.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare wax patterns and core components prior to assembly.
• Remove defects using approved tools and methods.
• Inspect wax patterns to meet quality requirements before assembly.
• Read and follow engineering sketches, practices, and work instructions.
• Assemble wax patterns, gating, sprues, bleeders, pour cups, ceramic cores, and other mold components.
• Use hot irons, water welders, scalpels, adhesives, and other assembly tools as required.
• Repair minor imperfections and address quality concerns as directed.
• Complete required paperwork and sign off on production routers.
• Transfer completed work to the next operation and communicate job status to the team.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
