Job summary

Chromalloy Gas Turbine, LLC is seeking a Wax Assembly Operator in Tampa to clean, prepare, and assemble wax patterns used in aerospace parts. You will follow engineering specs and quality standards to ensure on-time production.

Responsibilities include inspecting patterns, assembling cores and mold components, and accurately completing paperwork. Training periods may shift hours; safety and quality are emphasized throughout.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• English communication (speaking, reading, writing) required.
• 3+ months of manufacturing, assembly, inspection, or related experience preferred.
• Prior aerospace/manufacturing/precision assembly experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and defect identification.
• Good hand dexterity for detailed assembly work.
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Team-oriented, safety- and quality-focused.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare wax patterns and core components prior to assembly.
• Remove defects using approved tools and methods.
• Inspect wax patterns to ensure they meet quality requirements before assembly.
• Read and follow engineering sketches, practices, and work instructions.
• Assemble wax patterns, gating, sprues, bleeders, pour cups, ceramic cores, and other mold components.
• Use hot irons, water welders, scalpels, adhesives, and other assembly tools as required.
• Repair minor imperfections and address quality concerns as directed.
• Complete required paperwork and sign off on production routers.
• Transfer completed work to the next operation and communicate status to team.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
