Saab West Lafayette, IN is seeking a Technical Writer to join a team manufacturing the rear section of the T-7A Redhawk for the U.S. Air Force.

You will serve as the local subject matter expert for technical writing across shifts and develop quality documentation including NCRs, inspection plans, FAIs, and MRBs. Responsibilities include improving controls, interpreting technical product requirements, and delivering high-quality documentation on schedule.

Qualifications

• AS Degree in Quality, Technical Writing, or related STEM discipline, or 3 years' related experience.
• Previous technical writing experience in manufacturing or quality operations.
• Ability to interpret and revise documentation for consistency and efficiency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative problem-solving and self-driven work ethic.

Responsabilités

• Serve as local SME for technical writing across shifts.
• Develop NCRs, Inspection Plans, FAIs, and MRBs.
• Report writing performance and turnaround to leadership.
• Identify quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain best practices for technical writing.
