Job summary

Sargent Aerospace & Defense seeks a Supplier Quality Manager to lead supplier quality programs at our Tucson, AZ facility. You will report to the Director of Quality and dotted line to the Supply Chain Director, driving supplier readiness, performance, and continuous improvement across aerospace and defense units.

You will develop and execute supplier quality plans, manage a team of SQ professionals, and collaborate with engineering, program quality, and operations to mitigate risk and reduce

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 7+ years of quality management experience in regulated industries (aerospace/defense/marine).
• Strong knowledge of SPC, APQP, PFMEA, RCCA and root cause analysis.
• Experience audits and strong corrective action discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage supplier quality programs across multiple business units.
• Measure and drive supplier quality metrics and continuous improvement.
• Enforce contract/P.O. requirements and drive supplier development.
• Lead APQP/PPAP, process validation, and NPI with suppliers.
• Investigate supplier quality issues with SCARs, audits, and improvement plans.
• Build collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
• Travel up to 50% to supplier facilities for audits and reviews.
