Job summary

Vast in Long Beach is seeking an SMT Test Technician to support Haven-1 components through development, qualification, and acceptance testing. This full-time, non-exempt role reports to the Supervisor, Structures Test, and demands precise instrumentation and data handling.

Responsibilities include setting up tests, following drawings, and improving procedures. Candidates should have 3+ years in testing with electrical experience and a HS Diploma.

Qualifications

• Experience in a testing field with electrical work (3+ years).
• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with data acquisition systems.
• Familiarity with aerospace testing standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineering with test campaigns and instrumentation.
• Set up and operate tests with engineering guidance.
• Improve test procedures and automation.
• Troubleshoot DAQ and test setups.
• Review test requirements and equipment.
• Mentor less experienced team members.
