Job summary

Vast is seeking an Avionics Test Technician to support development of human-rated space station systems in Long Beach, CA. This full-time role reports to the Manager of Avionics Testing and involves building and operating test rigs for avionics hardware, ensuring rigorous testing and documentation.

The candidate should have 2+ years in aerospace/related fields, experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs), and familiarity with electrical safety and schematics.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in manufacturing, test, operations, aerospace, or similar fields.
• 2+ years using electronics equipment (e.g., scopes, DMMs, power supplies).
• 5+ years using basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and commission test systems for avionics and related electronics hardware.
• Operate, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and modify testing equipment.
• Support development, acceptance, qualification, and investigative test campaigns via test systems.
