Job summary

Vast is seeking a hands-on Test Specialist in Long Beach, CA to support Haven-1 components and structures testing. You will work under the Supervisor, Structures Test on development, qualification, and acceptance tests, handling instrumentation, data logging, and test fixtures.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in aerospace testing with electrical experience, be able to lift 25 lbs, travel if needed, and work overtime to meet mission milestones. The role is full-time and on-site in California.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a testing field with electrical work.
• HS diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineering with test campaigns and instrumentation.
• Set up and operate tests with guidance.
• Lead small team of test technicians on tasks.
• Troubleshoot DAQ and test setup issues and implement solutions.
• Review test requirements and ensure compliance with testing standards.
