Job summary

Vast Space Llc. in Long Beach, California is seeking a Test Specialist reporting to the Supervisor, Structures Test. You will assist in development, qualification, and acceptance testing for Haven-1 components and structures, with a hands-on approach and attention to detail.

The role requires 3+ years in testing and electrical experience, the ability to lead a small team, lift up to 25 lbs, and willingness to travel to Mojave. Full-time, non-exempt position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Has prior experience in a specific testing field and electrical experience combined (3+years).
• HS Diploma or equivalency certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineering with test campaigns and instrumentation/DAQ support.
• Set up and operate tests with guidance and improve engineering with a plan.
• Lead 2+ test technicians to complete tasks or projects.
• Troubleshoot DAQ/test setup issues and implement solutions.
• Review test requirements, RFQs/SOWs related to testing equipment.
• Data logging and data processing; ensure accurate records.
