Job summary

Vantor is seeking a Sr. Mission Analysis Engineer to tackle complex challenges across space, cyber, maritime, and other mission domains.

You will build and run high-fidelity simulations of satellites, aircraft, sensors, and ISR systems to evaluate performance and inform decisions. The role emphasizes developing new modeling capabilities, automating analyses, and translating results into actionable recommendations for engineers and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with active TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace/Mechanical/Electrical/Applied Math/Physics/CS.
• Minimum 8 years related experience.
• Willing to work on-site in a classified facility.
• Advanced degree in engineering, physics, applied mathematics, computer science, or related field.
• 15 years industry experience.
• Experience in aerospace domains or sensor/mission engineering.

Responsibilities

• Model complex aerospace missions with high-fidelity simulations of satellites, aircraft, sensors, and ISR systems.
• Explore architectures and configurations to identify performance drivers, limitations, risks, and opportunities.
• Create operational scenarios capturing customer objectives, mission constraints, environments, and system behavior.
• Develop tools, scripts, automation, visualizations, and new simulation capabilities to improve analyses.
• Analyze large simulation datasets to uncover trends and translate results into actionable conclusions.
• Ensure QA/QC of models and analytical methods.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to engineers, leaders, and customers.
