Job summary

RTX is hiring for a senior quality leadership role onsite in Georgia. You will lead a team, drive Lean-based process improvements, and implement corrective actions to sustain high quality. You will interpret technical drawings and coordinate with Engineering and Operations to prevent nonconformities.

The role emphasizes strong root-cause analysis, adherence to AS9100/AS9110, and integration of quality controls across manufacturing processes. Onsite work in Columbus, GA is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience, or 7+ years with an advanced degree.
• Root Cause and Corrective Action experience.
• Experience with AS9100/AS9110 standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach employees to develop a motivated team and address performance issues.
• Drive process improvement using Lean strategies to boost quality and efficiency.
• Implement root-cause corrective actions to maintain quality standards.
• Manage and track the operational schedule for quality functions and contingencies.
• Modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation systems and protocols.
• Evaluate technical data and work instructions to support Engineering and Operations.
• Conduct investigations and develop corrective actions for nonconformities.
• Develop proactive quality initiative strategies and promote QMS compliance.
