Job summary

RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, invites experienced quality leaders to join the Hot Section Module Center South. You will lead a team of process quality engineers and drive initiatives to improve quality, reduce scrap, rework and prevent escapes to flight operations.

This onsite role requires strong collaboration with operations and manufacturing, ISO 9001 familiarity, and a background in engineering.

Qualifications

BS in a related field, preferably engineering.
Minimum 7 years of experience in a quality or supervisory role.
Strong familiarity with inspection tooling and techniques; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge/experience with quality systems and standards such as ISO 9001.
Ability to prioritize workload in a high-pressure environment and multitask.

Responsibilities

Drive culture of compliance through collaboration with Operations and Manufacturing teams.
Lead team of process quality engineers to improve quality signatures of processes.
Lead clinic investigation managers in compliance to product recall procedures and problem-solving tools.
Develop and implement project quality plans to reduce Scrap, Rework and Repair and DCMA discrepancies.
Improve manufacturing, assembly, inspection, and test processes to reduce defects and prevent quality escapes.
