Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a senior Quality leader to guide QA, QC, and inspection across the Columbus Engine Center. You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Materials to ensure robust processes, drive continuous improvement, and uphold safety and regulatory standards.

Leading RCA, CAPA, and performance metrics, you will influence nonconforming material handling and MRB processes while advancing AS9100, FAA, and DCMA compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 14 years of experience, or 12 years with an advanced degree.
• Experience leading Quality Management in aerospace or similarly regulated manufacturing.
• Senior leadership or people management experience.
• Experience in Operations, Quality, or Engineering within aerospace manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for QA, QC, and inspection across the Columbus Engine Center.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Materials to ensure robust processes and effective change management.
• Champion product safety through discipline and continuous improvement on the shop floor.
• Oversee compliance programs: training, records, audits, procedures, investigations.
• Monitor and report key quality metrics; develop action plans to meet goals.
• Ensure adherence to AS9100, FAA, DCMA, and customer-specific requirements.
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement using CORE tools.
• Drive process capability improvements, defect reduction, and first-pass yield gains.
