Job summary

RTX in Columbus, GA is seeking a senior quality leader to drive process improvement, corrective actions, and robust quality systems in a high‑stakes aerospace environment. You will read and interpret technical drawings, coach cross‑functional teams, and ensure compliance with AS9100/AS9110 while coordinating with Engineering and Operations to deliver defect‑free products.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with extensive experience, strong CP/PPAP experience, and a track record of Lean Six

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years experience or 7+ with advanced degree.
• Root Cause and Corrective Action experience.
• Experience with AS9100/AS9110 standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach teams to develop motivated, effective performance.
• Drive Lean process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Implement root-cause corrective actions for nonconformities.
• Manage operational schedule for quality functions and contingency plans.
• Maintain and apply quality evaluation systems and protocols.
• Analyze technical data to support engineering and operations.
• Develop recommendations and actions for improvements.
• Promote a quality-focused culture under QMS and Cardinal Rules.
