Job summary

RTX’s Collins Aerospace unit in Bellevue, IA seeks a dynamic Manager, Quality Assurance to lead a team of product quality professionals at our Bellevue manufacturing site. This onsite role requires directing quality policies, fostering continuous improvement, and coordinating with operations across sites to meet rigorous standards.

The role reports to the Associate Director of Product Quality and includes relocation eligibility. A strong background in aerospace quality is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires university degree and 8+ years of experience or an advanced degree with 5+ years of experience.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or operations functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Quality Engineers and QA Technicians.
• Oversee a people leader of Certified Inspectors.
• Collaborate across multiple Avionics locations to ensure effective decision-making.
• Apply the CORE operating system to daily Quality and Operations practices.
• Develop and lead organizational projects to ensure continuous quality improvement.
• Drive quality improvement to reduce scrap, rework, SRR costs and defects.
• Analyze quality data to plan long-term quality strategies.
• Conduct production process analyses to ensure standards and improvements.
