Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of quality leadership experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or precision machining environments.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and quality management systems.
• Experience with GD&T, metrology equipment, and inspection processes.
• Proven leadership experience managing quality teams.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and root cause investigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Quality Department, including inspectors and quality personnel.
• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, customer requirements, and applicable industry standards.
• Plan and oversee internal, customer, and third-party audits.
• Manage nonconformance investigations, corrective actions, and root cause analysis activities.
• Develop and maintain quality procedures, inspection plans, and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and leadership teams to resolve quality concerns.
• Monitor quality metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of inspection and metrology equipment.
• Support customer communications regarding quality requirements and documentation.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
