Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Quality Manager for a Sun Valley, CA facility. This is a full-time—temp to hire role with 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, in a highly regulated aerospace plating and NDT environment.

The Quality Manager will lead the QMS to meet AS9100/ISO 9001, FAA Repair Station requirements, and NADCAP; oversee all quality-related activities from receiving to release, and drive continuous improvement with KPIs and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, or related field preferred.
• 5 to 10+ years in aerospace quality systems.
• Experience in chemical processing/plating highly preferred.
• NDT operations (Level II or equivalent) preferred.
• FAA Repair Station or aerospace manufacturing environment knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001, FAA regs, NADCAP, KPI and audits.

Responsibilities

• QMS Leadership & Compliance
• Maintain and improve the QMS in accordance with AS9100/ISO 9001, FAA Repair Station requirements, NADCAP
• Ensure compliance with customer approvals (e.g., Boeing, Parker, Moog)
• Serve as the Management Representative for quality system effectiveness
• Lead Management Review with KPI performance and risk evaluation
• Oversee quality assurance for chemical processing, plating, and NDT
• Drive process validation, FAI, and process capability monitoring
• Audit & Regulatory Interface
• Corrective Action & Continuous Improvement
• Manage NCR system, root cause analysis, corrective actions
• Oversee supplier approval and performance monitoring
• Train and qualify personnel for NDT, special processes, inspection
