Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a seasoned Quality Manager (Aerospace) for a direct-hire role in Garden Grove, CA. You will lead the Quality Control team in a fast-paced aerospace environment, overseeing inspections and ensuring compliance with AS9100 and ISO standards.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in aerospace manufacturing, strong leadership, and hands-on experience with CMM and drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, quality assurance, or machine shop environments.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Experience with CMM inspection and technical drawing interpretation preferred.
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills; bilingual English/Vietnamese preferred.
• Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments.
• Approximately 50% sitting and 50% standing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Quality Control inspection personnel.
• Coordinate inspection priorities to support production and customer requirements.
• Oversee First Article Inspections (FAI), receiving, in-process, final, and shipping inspections.
• Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
• Manage inspection schedules, workloads, and departmental resources.
• Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain quality records and inspection documentation.
• Enforce Quality Management System (QMS), safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards.
• Support continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives.
