Job summary

Search Masters is seeking a quality leader to direct a small, three-person team in a machining-focused facility in Ohio. You will oversee AS9100 and IS9001 audits, drive continuous improvement through root-cause analysis, and manage first article inspections to ensure product conformance and customer satisfaction.

The role requires at least five years of quality leadership in machining, aerospace experience preferred, and familiarity with metrology tools and GD&T.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of quality leadership experience in a machining environment.
• Aerospace industry experience preferred, aluminum machining a strong plus.
• Degree preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with metrology tools including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and GD&T principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a quality team of three, including one CMM programmer and two inspectors.
• Oversee AS9100 and IS9001 audits, ensuring full compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.
• Direct and oversee first article inspections to ensure product conformance and customer satisfaction.
• Manage CMM processes including setup, programming, and operational oversight.
