RTCA, a precision aerospace and defense manufacturer, seeks a Quality Manager to lead the quality function for a complex CNC operation supporting flight-critical programs. You’ll own the QMS, drive audits, and partner with customers and cross-functional teams to protect quality and on-time delivery.

This hands-on leadership role requires a strong track record in AS9100, MRB, RCCA/CAPA, and supplier collaboration.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field.
• 5+ years of quality experience in aerospace or precision CNC machining.
• 3+ years in a quality supervisory or management role.
• Strong working knowledge of AS9100 and the ability to maintain a QMS.
• Experience with nonconforming material/MRB, root-cause analysis, and corrective action (8D, 5-Why, fishbone).
• Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T (ASME Y14.5), and flowdown requirements.
• Knowledge of inspection methods, First Article Inspection (AS9102), CMM inspection, and calibration/gage control.
• Proven leadership and coaching ability.
• Strong written and verbal communication; professional with customers/auditors.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Own and maintain the QMS in compliance with AS9100 and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the Quality department including inspection, CMM, and quality engineering.
• Plan and lead the internal audit program and host customer/regulatory audits.
• Manage nonconforming material and MRB activities; ensure timely disposition.
• Drive RCCA/CAPA and close actions with suppliers and customers.
• Serve as primary quality contact for customers and review contracts.
• Oversee First Article Inspection and CMM programming priorities.
• Maintain calibration and gage control across inspection equipment.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain on supplier approval and performance.
• Establish and report quality metrics to leadership.
• Promote quality at source and operator ownership on the shop floor.
• Support quality planning for new programs and parts.
