Job summary

Chromalloy Gas Turbine, LLC seeks a Director, Quality Assurance for Engine Component Repair Services (ECRS) to provide strategic and day-to-day quality leadership across repair locations. This highly visible role leads site Quality Managers and drives consistent quality strategy, regulatory compliance, product integrity, customer performance, and continuous improvement across the segment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive aerospace quality or related leadership experience.
• 7+ years of people leadership, including site Quality Managers or multi-site quality orgs.
• Experience with FAA Part 145 repair-station operations and aviation regulatory requirements.
• Proven success leading quality performance, regulatory compliance, audits, investigations, and corrective-action programs across multiple facilities.
• Strong executive communication, judgment under pressure, and commitment to compliance and product integrity.

Responsibilities

• Own and deploy the ECRS segment quality strategy, priorities, operating rhythm, and improvement roadmap across repair locations.
• Lead, coach, and develop site Quality Managers and strengthen organizational depth.
• Serve as senior Quality partner to segment leadership and communicate performance, risks, and recovery plans to executives.
• Ensure FAA Part 145 and other regulatory compliance across locations.
• Drive audit readiness, corrective actions, and prevention of repeat findings.
• Use quality metrics and risk signals to improve performance and reduce quality escapes.
• Lead responses to significant customer concerns, product escapes, investigations, and containment.
• Partner with Operations and Engineering to improve first-pass yield and process capability while maintaining compliance.
• Drive governance, data standards, and electronic quality management workflows across ECRS locations.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, regulators, and certification bodies.
