Job summary

Janicki Industries is seeking a Program Planner to lead program planning, scheduling, and budgeting from our Layton, Utah facility. The role requires creating and maintaining SAP-based project schedules, defining critical paths, and supporting PMs, Operations, and Accounting.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Industrial/ Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field, with hands-on experience in SAP, MS Project, and Primavera, plus strong English

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred in Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Management.
Scheduling software experience: SAP, MS Project, Primavera; PMP and ERP experience are a plus.
Must have strong English communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain project schedules in SAP using templates and WBS/activities; define critical paths.
Keep project plans and schedules accurate in SAP; adjust budgets, schedules, and work centers as needed.
Communicate schedule needs with PMs and Operations Managers; link documents and generate PDFs.
Produce reports on project cost and schedule performance; support billing and invoicing.
Meet with PMs, Program Management, and customers to provide schedule support for large projects.
Field daily schedule and budget questions; understand processes and materials and update status of projects.
Assist with sales proposals, cost tables, and estimating as required.
Demonstrate cooperative behavior and reliable attendance.
