Job summary

Janicki Industries in Layton, UT seeks an experienced Project Engineer to support concurrent engineering for manufacturing plans, schedules and quality plans. You will review customer orders and changes, develop inspection plans, and ensure compliance with codes and contracts.

The role requires leading engineers, coordinating with Program Management, Operations, QA and HR, and maintaining schedules under pressure. On-site in Layton with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or related field required.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities; able to lead a team of engineers on complex manufacturing objectives.
• Experience with CATIA and NX or equivalent CAD software is a plus.
• Proficiency with SAP ERP software is preferred.
• Experience with complex aerospace machining projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support concurrent engineering for manufacturing plans, schedules, and quality plans.
• Promote quality standards, inspection processes, and test methodologies; maintain quality documents.
