Job summary

Janicki Industries in Layton, Utah seeks an NC Engineer to create and maintain NC programming and machining processes onsite. The ideal candidate has strong CNC knowledge, good English communication, and can drive projects from design through manufacturing.

You'll develop and implement machining methods, train staff, collaborate with CNC programmers and customer teams, and ensure projects meet schedules, budgets, and quality standards in aerospace production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years experience may substitute for degree.
• CNC programming/machining experience.
• Familiar with Catia, NX Unigraphics, and SAP.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date CNC/machining practices.
• Develop and train personnel to new processes.
• Work with CNC programmers and project teams to process parts.
• Communicate with design and manufacturing support.
• Develop and release project plans, including schedules and budgets.
• Interface with customer technical teams to determine requirements.
