Job summary

Janicki Industries in Layton, Utah, is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our on-site team. You will lead project planning, coordinate manufacturing activities, and ensure compliance with AS9100 and Nadcap standards on aerospace production.

You will review customer contracts, develop production build plans, manage schedules and budgets, and collaborate with Program Management, Operations and QA to meet key deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering required.
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with CATIA and NX or equivalent CAD software.
• Proficiency with SAP ERP software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support concurrent engineering by developing manufacturing plans, schedules and quality plans.
• Review customer orders, contracts and change requests to ensure criteria are met.
• Complete Inspection Plans with Project Planning and in coordination with Project Management.
• Develop Production Build Plan packages based on customer process specs and drawings.
• Maintain awareness of project schedules to meet key deadlines.
• Facilitate communication with Program Management, Operations, QA and HR.
