Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Program Manager I to oversee multiple projects in support of business objectives, ensuring strong customer relationships, cost management, scheduling, and technical execution.

You will manage programs with budgets up to $20M, supervise project staff, and serve as the primary point of contact for customers, coordinating with stakeholders to meet cost, budget, and schedule constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, Management, Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years in project or program management in the Aerospace & Defense industry.
• 1+ years leading teams of 3+ cross functional members.
• Experience with evaluating requests for proposals, quotes and contract negotiations.
• Experience managing multiple projects and acting as primary customer focal.

Responsibilities

• Manage all programmatic aspects of multiple assigned projects focusing on customer relationships, cost, schedule, and technical planning.
• Track and report on project status, technical execution, and overall program performance.
• Supervise program and project staff to ensure successful outcomes.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers (POC).
• Coordinate audits and negotiate with stakeholders to align with budget constraints.
• Support the Program Director and Business Operations in responsibilities for the Business Area.
