Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a results-oriented Program Manager I to oversee multiple projects, ensuring strong customer relationships, reliable cost control, scheduling, and technical execution. You will manage programs up to $20M and supervise staff while acting as the primary client contact.

The role requires cross-functional leadership and a focus on program integration and lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, Management, Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in project or program management in Aerospace & Defense.
• 1+ years' experience leading teams of 3+ cross-functional members.
• Experience with proposals/quotes and contract negotiations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and be primary customer focal.

Responsibilities

• Oversee programs with budgets up to $20M, focusing on cost, schedule, and technical planning.
• Track and report program status, performance, and risks to stakeholders.
• Supervise staff and serve as primary customer contact.
• Coordinate with business resources and form teams to meet requirements.
• Identify, track, and mitigate program risks and opportunities.
• Interface on status, develop proposals, and support audits with stakeholders.
