Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking an operations leader to oversee production activities, drive continuous improvement, and manage a multi-skilled team focused on high-quality jet engine components.

You will implement lean practices, supervise scheduling, and ensure safety and training standards across shifts. Strong collaboration with customers and internal teams is essential in this onsite role.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with 3+ years in Military, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Aerospace or Logistics.
• Or a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead production operations, supervise shop floor and workforce, manage throughput and scheduling.
• Apply CORE/ACE, lean and continuous improvement to improve quality and delivery.
• Provide coaching and guidance to multi-skilled teams in manufacture and repair of jet engine components.
• Ensure training, safety and environmental standards are met.
• Set daily goals, manage TPM compliance and equipment uptime.
• Coordinate with Operations Manager on budgeting and cost reduction.
• Interface with customers to understand needs and ensure satisfactory service.
