Pratt & Whitney seeks a senior Materials Manager to lead material functions for a major business unit. You will direct shop floor personnel, prioritize materials with cell leaders, manage commitments for engine builds and spares, and drive improvements in accuracy, inventory, and delivery.

In this onsite role near Wells, ME, you will support lean transformations, manage WIP and aging, and guide a multi-skilled team to ensure timely material flow across manufacturing cells.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years in manufacturing ops or related field or Master’s with 5+ years in engineering/ manufacturing operations.
• Experience with continuous improvement (Lean, CORE, QCPC).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsabilidades

• Direct Shop Floor personnel in execution of business unit plan.
• Guide Manufacturing Cell Leaders and QA Leaders on material prioritization.
• Create Engine Build and Military spares commitments and maintain accuracy of information.
• Coordinate with materials org on Vendor Assist scheduling and prioritization of critical BU commitments.
• Lead and manage accruals, WIP, QN and PPX aging.
• Support Lean and CORE initiatives to improve quality, throughput and delivery.
• Contribute to lean logistic transformation plans.
• Provide leadership to a multi-skilled team distributing material to/from cells and module assembly.
• Ensure warehouse inventory accuracy.
