Job summary

GE Aerospace in Lynn, MA seeks an experienced Operations Leader to run a high-performing production operation for critical aircraft engine components. You will own safety, quality, delivery and cost, lead a team of 5–10 salaried professionals, and influence mid-term plans as product mix shifts.

You will apply Lean principles, drive continuous improvement, and use data to spot issues, making timely decisions that improve cycle time and throughput on both commercial and military programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university OR high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in manufacturing or manufacturing leadership.
• Lean principles experience to drive cycle time, throughput and cost improvements.
• Experience leading salaried and professional teams in aerospace or regulated manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 5–10 salaried professionals (engineers, supervisors, specialists).
• Own operational performance for your area and drive safety, quality, delivery and cost targets.
• Adapt line to changing product mix and champion continuous improvement with Lean methods.
• Use data to spot issues, inform decisions and drive measurable gains across plant operations.
• Lead cross-functional projects and liaise with stakeholders to shape mid-term plans.
