Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking an Operations Leader to head a high-performing production operation for critical aircraft engine components. You will own daily performance in safety, quality, delivery, and cost, guiding a team of engineers and supervisors and shaping mid-term strategy for a changing product mix.

You will lead with autonomy and clear decision-making on a fast-moving shop floor, driving continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration across operations, engineering, and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4+ years in manufacturing leadership.
• Minimum of 5 years in Operations Management with Lean experience.
• Experience leading salaried professionals in aerospace or regulated manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 5-10 salaried professionals.
• Own operational performance for safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Maintain line reliability while adapting to changing product mix.
• Apply Lean principles to improve cycle time and efficiency.
• Use data to identify issues and drive measurable results.
• Solve complex problems across operations, engineering and quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and influence key decisions.
• Contribute to mid-term operating plan and business programs.
• Lead improvement projects and cross-functional teams.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices.
