Job summary

Prattwhitney in Durham, NH is seeking an Industrial Engineer to develop, improve, and sustain manufacturing processes while driving improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You will collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to enhance process capability and production readiness.

The role requires experience in aerospace manufacturing, AS9100 knowledge, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• A university degree or equivalent with 5+ years' relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, process improvement, or technical operations.
• Knowledge of IE principles: process analysis, work measurement, capacity analysis, workflow optimization, continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, improve, and sustain manufacturing processes to optimize safety, quality, delivery, cost, and performance.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to analyze workflows, equipment utilization, labor requirements, and production constraints.
• Provide hands‑on technical support for manufacturing process issues and troubleshooting.
• Plan and execute DOE, process studies, and trials to optimize processes.
• Support qualification, validation, and readiness activities for new or modified processes.
