Parker Aerospace in Kent, WA is seeking a Buyer (Aerospace) to manage supplier orders and ensure on-time delivery. You will source materials, issue RFQs, and negotiate price and delivery while coordinating with internal customers to keep inventory at planned levels.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in business or technology and at least two years of procurement experience, with ERP proficiency and aerospace exposure preferred. Benefit programs and annual incentive are offered.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in business or technology required.
• Minimum two years of procurement experience with ERP systems.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus; aerospace exposure preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on facts and information.
• Experience negotiating claims with suppliers; strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Purchase materials, supplies, and equipment following policies to optimize price and delivery.
• Communicate specs, identify qualified suppliers, issue RFQs, and procure actions.
• Negotiate price, delivery, and quality with suppliers.
• Coordinate with internal customers to maintain inventory at planned levels.
• Release POs, follow up, expedite as needed, and maintain procurement records.
• Prepare and edit purchase orders, bid requests, and ensure accurate receiving.
• Maintain positive supplier relationships and ensure compliance.
