Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking a procurement professional to obtain best quality, service, and value through effective bidding, negotiation, and supplier management. You will identify manufacturing needs, select suppliers, and arrange delivery for critical parts and services.

Responsibilities include evaluating supplier proposals, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance with procurement requirements. You will prepare reports, drive continuous improvement, and mentor junior staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of purchasing experience.
• CPM or APICS certification desired.
• Knowledge of purchasing methods, principles, and concepts.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to procurement.
• Ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Identify and select suppliers; prepare statements of work and RFQs.
• Negotiate terms, lead times, price, and delivery with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues affecting quality or delivery.
• Prepare complex reports and analyses summarizing information and trends.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives with key suppliers.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and ensure regulatory compliance.
