Parker Aerospace seeks a results-driven Buyer to support high-volume production in a complex aerospace environment in Ogden, Utah. You will procure technical and production materials, partner with Operations, Engineering, and Quality, and drive on-time delivery and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 3–5 years of progressive purchasing experience, strong negotiation and supplier-management skills, and proficiency with ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required; 3-5 years of progressive purchasing experience in manufacturing
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and data analysis
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills; professional communication across levels

Responsabilités

• Source and procure aerospace production materials, equipment, and services
• Lead RFQs, bid analysis, and supplier selection for moderately complex commodities
• Negotiate pricing, delivery, terms to optimize cost and service
• Issue and manage purchase orders with accurate pricing and terms
• Monitor supplier performance (OTD, quality, responsiveness) and mitigate production risk
• Resolve delivery, quality, over-shipment, and engineering change issues
• Develop alternate sources to improve resilience and cost
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering and Quality to support schedules
• Drive continuous improvement for cost, lead time, and process efficiency
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies
