Job summary

Parker Aerospace, based in Ogden, Utah, is seeking a results-driven Buyer to support high-volume aerospace production programs. You will procure technical and production materials, ensuring best value, on-time delivery, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supplier Development to support schedules and mitigate risk. This role offers growth within a global aerospace team and exposure to advanced actuation technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing purchasing environments is required.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure a wide variety of aerospace production materials, equipment, and services.
• Lead RFQs, bid analysis, and supplier selection for moderately complex and technical commodities.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery, terms, to optimize cost and service performance.
• Issue and manage purchase orders ensuring accuracy in price, lead time, and contractual terms.
• Monitor supplier performance (OTD, quality, responsiveness) and mitigate risk to production.
• Develop alternate sources of supply to improve resilience and cost competitiveness.
• Partner cross-functionally to support production schedules and customer commitments.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, lead time reduction, and process efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations, aerospace industry standards, and internal procurement policies.
