Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced procurement professional to own the end-to-end lifecycle for direct materials and COTS electronics, ensuring traceability and aerospace compliance.

You will issue RFQs/RFPs, negotiate pricing and terms, manage post-award supplier performance and On-Time Delivery, and partner with engineering and quality teams to meet strict standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in procurement, a Bachelor’s degree, and hands-on ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, Coupa).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5+ years of procurement/purchasing experience, preferably in direct buying.
• Demonstrated experience procuring COTS products, discrete electronic components, and electronics hardware.
• Hands-on proficiency with enterprise ERP and procurement platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa).

Responsibilities

• End-to-end procurement lifecycle for direct materials and services, including RFQs/RFPs.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and supplier agreements to achieve cost savings.
• Manage post-award supplier performance and On-Time Delivery (OTD).
• Ensure audit-ready procurement records and regulatory compliance.
