Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to own the organization’s supply chain performance for commercial programs. You will lead a team of professional buyers, drive strategic sourcing, and execute long-term agreements with a focus on cost, schedule, and risk management.

The role requires deep experience in aerospace procurement, BOM management, and a strong track record in supplier governance, with travel up to 25% for supplier engagement and site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field with 10+ years in procurement or a related discipline.
• Experience managing procurement teams, including hiring, performance management and development.
• Experience with complex BOMs, FFP contracts, and LTAs in aerospace or advanced manufacturing.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for supplier engagement and site visits.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle) and procurement analytics.

Responsibilities

• Own program-level supply chain performance for commercial programs, including schedule and cost accountability.
• Direct and develop a team of buyers, coordinating hiring, goal setting and growth.
• Lead strategic sourcing and negotiate FFP contracts and LTAs across suppliers.
• Develop procurement policies, templates, and digital tools for compliance and traceability.
• Manage supplier capacity, tooling, and readiness to protect program build rates.
