Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage end-to-end sourcing for direct materials, COTS products, and aerospace hardware. You will issue RFQs/RFPs, analyze bids, and negotiate favorable pricing and terms, while maintaining supplier performance and strict traceability.

The role requires 5+ years in procurement, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and hands-on ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, Coupa). On-site position in El Segundo, CA with aerospace compliance focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5+ years of procurement/purchasing experience, preferably in a direct buying capacity.
• Demonstrated experience procuring COTS products, discrete electronic components, and electronics hardware.
• Hands-on proficiency with enterprise ERP and procurement platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa).

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end procurement lifecycle for direct materials and services.
• Process purchase requisitions into POs, issue RFQs/RFPs, and perform competitive bid analyses.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions; drive cost savings and supplier value.
• Maintain audit-ready procurement files and ensure compliance with aerospace standards.
